Another incredible wedding to cap off my summer wedding season. Trevor and Jenny's Minnesota wedding was one for the ages. It all took place out at Jenny's parents home. Their wedding was filled with so many amazing memories and stories that I don't even know where to begin. Lets start with how unpredictable the weather is. It was a rainy weekend in MN with no sunshine in sight, the weather said party cloudy but come wedding morning, it's still drizzling. I'm always pro photos no matter what, if the bride and groom are willing to get wet then so am I, and so was the case. Jenny and Trevor planned to do a first look, so we holstered a few umbrellas and went out into the rain. It continued to rain off and on throughout most of the bridal party photos but this bridal party wasn't going to let a little rain ruin their fun. For those of you who've had outdoor weddings, you know you need a back up plan if the weathers bad. Jenny and Trevor wanted to avoid plan b which would move their ceremony into the reception tent but with the ceremony quickly approaching and clouds rolling over they had to decide. Trevor and Jenny chose to take the risk, and boy did it pay off. As guests are taking their seats God decides to give them a little break and the sun begins to pierce through the clouds, I've never seen anything like it. The entire ceremony was beautifully illuminated during the break in the clouds. After a serenade by the groom for his bride of Moon River (the song he used to propose to Jenny with) they kiss under the birch tree arbor Jenny's brother in law built and walk down the isle as husband and wife. Right as the guest began picking up their chairs from the ceremony to walk them into the reception tent the rain starts pouring. What are the odds? The rain stopped as their ceremony began and started to pour right once it ends, I think thats a 1 in a million chance. The rain quickly stopped and we had a beautiful evening celebrating Jenny and Trevor's love. The sun also came out again and gave us an amazing sunset but you'll see all that in the photos. Also Jenny and Trevor are huge pinball nerds so they rented a few for their wedding! Sorry for the super long blog post there were too many photos I couldn't leave out. Here is Jenny and Trevor's day!
