Charlotte Grace

The story of Tanner & Liz goes back too many years to write. I grew up with Tanner and have known him since childhood. It seems like it was yesterday but around 6 or 7 years ago I can still recall vividly the night Tanner told me he was going to propose to Liz his wife. It was my first real wake up call the moment he told me it hit me out of know where, the days of our adolescence were coming to an end we were all growing up. No more crazy late nights with your best buds. It was the stage in your life you never thought would end, you had no concerns for the future. It was the end of that era and I could feel it. Maybe I was just nervous for Tanner or myself we were all going into the unknown. The wedding came and went and everything was amazing. In fact my wedding came too and was glorious. Life went on.Walking into that hospital to greet Tanner was surreal. Tanner and Liz named her Charlotte Grace Stevens. When we were standing in the hall he explained to me how they were inspired to name her Grace and its quite beautiful. He said "Liz and I were both very anxious and maybe a little upset that Charlotte decided to wait so long past her due date to come out. We decided that it would be perfect if the first thing we could do for Charlotte as she began her life is offer her Grace. From her parents she will know nothing but a life full of love and grace." He also said its the perfect name if she wanted to become a country singer. I cherish these moments I can celebrate with my friends, the moments that change someone that change the course of your life.
