Chris & Emily Wichita Wedding

Our time with Chris and Emily started in the spring when my wife and I traveled out to LA for a week and spent a Saturday exploring and taking their engagement photos in some beautiful locations like the Los Angeles arboretum, and the San Gabriel mountains. Sharing the story of their wedding is like picking up right where we left off in LA. Except this time we were in Kansas at a beautiful plot of land where you can find former horse stables that have been converted into an event space.

The day started with Emily in the home where she grew up getting ready for one of the most important days of her life, surrounded by the comfort of her family and bridesmaids. We arrive at the venue where Emily and Chris are to finish getting ready. Chris and Emily's wedding had a few surprise bonuses that I was excited to capture for the first time. Emily's horse Ryan who she has won countless riding awards with was there for her wedding and we were able to spend a few minutes capturing the interactions of Emily and her horse. The rest of the day was like a blur of wedding bliss to Chris and Emily like it is to most people on their wedding day. While you spend endless days and nights planning for this one day it comes and goes quicker than you realize. Thats where we come in. We had so much fun capturing these moments for Chris and Emily, moments that only happen once. Moments that are frozen in time so that at any point in their lives they can look back and always remember the day they said I do.  I'm excited that we collaborated with Tanner Stevens who videoed the wedding.
